Hi all Just a couple thoughts about the website guadec.org
- On the front page we should plan for having a space that says something like "Event registration opens on [date]", for when we decide a date to have the registration system open. Also a space for "Call for papers will open on [date]", for when we decide to open that. Both these could then become big permanent buttons for registration and paper submission when open. - Maybe relocate the "Login | Register" currently sitting at the top of the site? It might be confusable with "register for the event". - Add a "Where to stay" menu item and page that will list of cooperating/recommended hotels and link to the Rialta registration system. - Add a "Sponsors" menu item and page, and probably front page frame as well. - In the front page rotating pictures there's one with a nice beach and storm clouds in the background.. maybe switch this to a sunny sky. : ) If no one minds, could I also have access to be a webpage poster / editor? I could then be available to help with adding / changing / tweaking content. Cheers William
