Hi all!

GUADEC was fantastic.
I have some feedback.

 --- Good things: ---

 - The people: Everyone were exceptionally nice and welcoming. No other
conference I've been to was like that.

 - The talks were interesting and thought-provoking.

 - Registration form: having gender as optional fill in the blank was a
really good idea.

 - Having a code of conduct.

 - Gaps between the talks in the schedule, this allowed some talks to
stretch a bit longer (usually during questions) without taking time from
the talks after them.

 - Venue location within the town: central, easy to find.

 - The tea :)

 - BoFs.

 - Conference wifi: it held well under the load.

- Lighting talks: they were coordinated well and extremely fun to watch. We
need more of these next time!

--- Things that could be improved ---

 - layout: the main room was too big and stretched far to the back, an
auditorium style room would have been better, especially for short people
like myself who had trouble seeing the slides unless they were quick enough
to find a place in the front.

 - Registration was opened a bit too late. It would have been better to
open it sooner if possible.

 - WiFi captive portal was a bit wonky at times, requiring to log in
multiple times before it worked.

 - Infodesk location - ideally you want infodesk to be the first room, or
at least the first thing you see when you get in. This will also help
t-shirt sales next time :)

 - No snacks and limited amount of soft drinks in the pre-registration
party made it a bit unpleasent for some, especially people who read in the
wiki that there will be snacks & drinks.

 - Gaps between talks, while useful, were a bit too long.

--------

Thanks for the organization team, and all attendees for making this
conference a great experience.
