Hi everyone, Adrien Plazas (Kekun) has created a presentation template intended to be used for this years GUADEC.
We deliberately only created a LaTeX/Pandoc template. It is really easy to create presentations using markdown and we wouldn't be able to hack up a similarly nice Open Office template. We made it easy for you to concentrate on just doing the content and let our Makefile handle the design (even with live-regeneration on save :)). If you never tried Pandoc - it is *just great* and now's the best time to do this [^1]. We'd love it if one or the other uses the template, if you do, be sure to thank Adrien for his great LaTeX work and Bastien for providing awesome design feedback! I'm not part of GUADEC the organization team, here's a proposal for them: forward this email to the speakers at the conference so they can use it and we get a nice consistent slide design for the conference. I will make sure the GSoC students get this for the lightning talks. Thanks, Lasse Schuirmann [0] https://github.com/sils1297/guadec-presentation-templates/tree/master/2015/ [^1]: I'm actually writing my bachelor thesis in it because it's awesomely nonverbose while incredibly readable and powerful. End of noncommercial break. _______________________________________________ guadec-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/guadec-list
