Hi organisers, the board has some practical considerations/requests/recommendations that we would like you to take into account and either update the bid with or expand on when the information becomes available on the website:
* The board would prefer if you can get KIT to host us as it sounds like the best option. We would prefer if it wasn't DHBW because of the distance from the city centre. Please take into account availability of lobby with suitable hacking and stand space. * Please include some more expensive hotel suggestions for attendees who need or want something more comfortable than a hostel. Additionally, please include accommodation options which are closer to the venue if there are any available. * In terms of venue/room availability, please consider the number of days and tracks when selecting the venue. It may make sense to have a shorter conference with more tracks, or a longer one with fewer tracks. It would be interesting to hear what the options are. * Depending on budgeting restrictions, it may make sense to cut down on social events, please keep this in mind. I think that's probably all for now… On 30 September 2015 at 19:22, Benjamin Berg <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello everyone, > > so we have finally finished our bid to host GUADEC in Karlsruhe, > Germany next year.
