When reading the above, you have to keep in mind where it was 
originally posted and their motivations in doing so.

I saw it demonstrated at ShmooCon.  I was impressed.  A small team 
did a lot of work with mostly undocumented procedures.

Yep.  The goals are good.  This is their first release.  Things will 
improve. I'm impressed with what they released.
