Sure (see other reply to Noah). If Noah is OK to help with the actual transfer of the doc bits, then I guess we’re almost all set. :-) 1.4 snarfs comments from .scm files for interpolation in template files to create the final texinfo, but i'm almost certain you don't need/want that flow, but would rather have the final texinfo. Is that correct? Also, i can either add a file to branch_release-1-8 (exercising my regained write privs :-D), or post it. What's best?
