I'll need to play around with these SRFI's and their implementations, but at least it looks promising.

At least with object hierarchy of exceptions answer now looks clear: there are different but equally sane solution OUTSIDE of GUILE core. Ok. But what about GUILE extensions written in C ? Lack of sane place to put C glue libraries bothers me. Not since this is such a big issue - it's minor issue. And THAT is reason it's bothering me: why project with over 8 years history STILL has such minor basic issues unresolved ? Are there are developers who can support GUILE or is it semi-abandoned project like HURD ? What goes on ? May be this stuff is handled by outside extension as well ? If so - then why ? And what is name of said extension ? Why it's unused by existiong extensions like guile-gnome-platform ? This sort of things... _______________________________________________ Guile-user mailing list Guile-user@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/guile-user
