Currently the easiest way to get X running is to use ‘slim-service’: http://www.gnu.org/software/guix/manual/guix.html#X-Window
Add it to the operating system declaration, like:
(operating-system
;; ...
(services (cons (slim-service) %base-services)))
Then ‘guix system reconfigure config.scm’, restart, and the system
should get straight to the graphical log-in screen (SLiM).
