There are also more reasonable looking URL such as https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/spice/libcacard/-/archive/v2.8.1/libcacard-v2.8.1.tar.bz2 But they may have the problem of unstable hashes sometimes encountered with autogenerated tarballs. I do not remember what is the state of the discussion with respect to tarballs vs. git and am happy with any solution. Andreas
