Hey people,

It seems Emacs crashes whenever trying to run the profiler on
Guix. Specifically, I run M-x profiler-start and choose cpu
profiling. After doing so, emacs crashes and if i started it from a
terminal it says 'Killed'. Similar issues happen when running 'cpu+mem'
option of the profiler but they dont happen when running only 'mem'
option of the profiler.

To make sure its not a configuration issue or anything, i tried this in
'guix shell emacs --pure' with 'emacs -Q'. My only guess off the top of my
head is the OS is killing it instantly for some reason. In my experience
i have only seen that ever happen when the Out Of Memory Killer starts
but i am going to rule that possibility out because I am running on a
laptop with 16GB RAM and the current normal RAM usage while I try this
is around 6GB RAM, which seems like plenty of room. I am not sure
whether this is a Guix issue either so any tips on where should i start
asking would be great.

Thanks,
Christin
