Hello Nguyên! I applaud your initiative! Creating teams and joining them is the first (and most important) step towards exercising expertise and contributing with blissful responsibility!
And contrary to what other people expressed in this thread, teams even without committers absolutely do make sense! At least that's how I came to be team head of my very own (now 3 member) audio team and got commit access granted last year! Encouraging others to join your team will probably be your next step.
