I accept.

As an aside, I really wish we could make a standard practice of using
more meaningful Subjects for discussing GCDs, such as:

Subject: GCD 006: Updating the package deprecation policy and processes

Or maybe every GCD should have a shortname:

Subject: GCD 006: package deprecation: Deliberation starts

Something, anything more than an arbitrary number to get a sense for
what we are talking about.

The fact that GCD 006 and GCD 007 discussions were going on concurrently
and I sometimes do not have the cognitive space to maintain what those
arbitrary numbers are talking about (things have been a bit rough in
various ways lately)... which, much to my surprise, severely limited my
energy to participate in any meaningful way. I do not want to need
something like an IDE to follow these discussions!

To people who are particularly vested in their proposal, or really
interested in the particular outcome, or people just prone to
associating temporary arbitrary numbers to carry deeper meaning, maybe
an arbitrary number is meaningful, but I usually need some sort of human
language text associated.

We do not have to mirror one of the biggest ongoing mistakes of the SRFI
system in our processes. :)

live well,
