To me Goodev in its current form is a dead end, and I hate to say this,
because I think it could have been great. But we don’t just write free
software for the end result of getting “stuff that works” at any cost;
we write it as part of our journey together.

I just wanted to write that reading this made me happy. I love this project and the values it embodies and inspires in the people that work on it. Working on and using Guix has taught me much about computing, but participating in its community has shown me what software can look like as a group project with a goal to empower the human.

Thanks everyone, and thanks Ludo' for always being a voice of reason and compassion in these discussions. Your words frequently inspire me.

Warmly,
Ada
