- Last week's action items: notifying the teams, release
artwork, release manifests, milestone.
- Timeline: the toolchain and transition freeze is in effect from
2 November; by the week of 19 October, the package sets should be
finalized and the release artwork commissioned.
- 'make dist' currently fails, which blocks the source tarball
(#11608, #10418).
- Open questions from last week: grafts on team branches, CI access,
security backports.
