I am untrusem aka. moksh. The day I installed Guix I bricked it[1] and bricked it again a few days later[2] and It was Rutherether who helped solve it both the times, I felt very welcomed in this small community and it were there interactions that made me learn more and made my first Contribution to Guix proper on May 30, 2025 and since then I have not stopped. I have contributed to various teams like go (I don't why I always end up packaging go things), emacs, rust, java, mozilla and various miscellaneous packages like offpunk, uxn11 and I am currently maintaining librewolf (come back ieure!). Also I have reviewing and doing `friendly pings` on very old MR to make them more active again. Apart from code, I am part of community team where I have been trying to raise discussions about Guix pain points and various things we could try to make our newcomers experience better. Though last few months have been challenging for all of us and we shall introspect on this as a community. I hope you folks get tired of me emailing because I intend to raise more discussions around our Guix and its community. I also have `Cleaning Old MR` and `The Guix Contributor Month` challenges in mind to make our experience more rewarding. Also I will be focusing on welcoming new contributors to Guix because we need all the help we can get :P . I also intend to learn guile to start making contributions to core and other important things such as data service etc. (I would love any practical resources fro a new programmer...Yes very new) Last but not the least I have plans to talks and make videos (hopefully) about Guix in various spaces.
