I would however like to state that I was engaged to sing the song �Aflatoon� as a playback singer. The song was neither composed nor written by me, but I have personally found nothing objectionable in any of the lyrics I have sung. These are also the very same lyrics I have been singing live on stage ever since. I am reproducing them below. If anyone has dubbed or added some other voices or lyrics to the song after I recorded my part, that is their responsibility, not mine. Today there are directors who insert nude scenes shot with extras into romantic film sequences shot with established stars; editors who cut and twist press and even TV interviews around so as to completely distort their intended meaning; people who take the faces of respectable celebrities and superimpose them on porn actors� bodies and put them out on the Net. Truly anything is possible. I just wish to state that I have always been known to compose and sing songs with social messages, setting a good example to our youth and adults alike; songs against drugs, war, destruction of nature, exploitation of women, adolescent sex, AIDS, corruption and communalism. I have always refused extremely profitable endorsement and advertising deals for alcohol and tobacco, so as not to encourage our youth to drink or smoke. I have recorded albums containing the Gayatri Mantra, Jai Jagdish Hare, and the life and work of Mother Teresa.
