Whale carcass surfaces on Utorda shore MARGAO, SEPT 9. 2004 � BY HERALD REPORTER
A huge whale washed ashore at Utorda beach on Thursday morning. But, more than the curiosity it evoked, locals were worried about the nuisance the whale posed to the village as the carcass of highly decomposed whale lay unattended throughout Thursday.Reports indicated that a portion of whale has disintegrated and the beach was enveloped with foul smell.
