The Goans based in Bahrain will have an opportunity to dance to the beat of their favourite band "Tidal Wave" on September 30 and October 1, 2004. Tidal Wave will be performing at the poolside of Delmon International Hotel as part of Bandra Fair celebrations organised by the Young Goans Club in association with the hotel. The five-piece band from Goa, who has to their credit, the tours of Canada, U.K. and Far East will be in Bahrain after performing in Kuwait.
The Bandra Fair kicks-off at 8.00 p.m. on September 30, with Bahrain based band "Night Shades" backing up the "Tidal Wave". The night will feature food stalls with Goan delicacies and a lot of spot and novelty prizes are in store for the visitors. The fair continues on October 1 with Filipino Band "Atomic Sensation", "Wall Freak" and the Russian band "Splash" joining Tidal Wave. There will be stalls of food, games, raffles and garments during the evening celebrations. Cultural programmes are also lined up for the evening. Traditional sweets and food items specially flown in from Goa and Bandra will be available at the fair.
Entrance tickets are priced at BD:1/= per person per day and are available at the hotel. The fair is sponsored by African & Eastern, Coca-Cola and Batelco.
