Colva United Centre seeks South Goa MP, Churchill Alemao's assistance
for social welfare activities in Colva
A delegation of Colva United Centre - Kuwait (CUC) presented a memorandum to Mr. Churchill Alemao, South Goa Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), during his recent visit to Kuwait seeking the financial assistance from his M.P. Funds to establish an Old Age Home cum Rehabilitation Center in Colva.
Mr. Alemao, ex-MLA of that area for over a decade admitting the pressing need for such a project in Colva promised to give desired financial help from his M.P. Funds. He appreciated also the initiatives and concrete steps taken by CUC to accomplish this project in collaboration with Lions Club and other organizations. He also praised the social welfare activities being carried by CUC in Kuwait and in Goa.
Mr. Alemao was invited by the organizers as the guest of honour at the mega event "Goa Day 2004' in Kuwait.
