Featuring Top tiatrists of the Konkani stage besides the music wizards Fr. Peter Cardoso sfx and Fr. Bernard Cota. Starring: Goan Touch with SHARON the voice of Goa.

Panaji, Dec 11: A musical programme titled �The Liberation-Eve Lorna Show� featuring celebrated Goan singer Lorna has been organised by Prestige Smart Kitchen, a TTK concern, in Margao, on December 18. The singer will perform a number of her Konkani chartbusters including �Yo bayle yo�, �Sowsarant famad Goa amche�, �Nachoyiam kumpasar� and so on. There will also be a performance by Sigmund D�Souza, a one-man guitar band. �It has been largely observed that the younger generation of Goa is heading more and more towards the western pop music, and forgetting the legendary Goan singers like Lorna and many more. Hence with a view to attract the younger generation to Goan cantaras, and to help the elder generation remember music of yesteryears, this programme has been organised,� says a press note released by Mr Gaurish Naik of Prestige Smart Kitchen showroom, at Margao. The exact venue of the event would be announced shortly, the press note adds. There will also be a display of fireworks after the programme. The musical show will be held in open air and free for public.
