Book on stories of Blessed Joseph Vaz to be released NT News Desk Panaji, Jan 11, 2005: A book on `207 stories of Blessed Joseph Vaz' written by Fr Romualdo Robin Rodrigues, ex-rector and ex-vice- postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Joseph Vaz will be released by Emeritus Bishop Raul Gonsalves on January 16 at the Sanctuary of Blessed Joseph Vaz, Sancaole at 10 a.m. This book is dedicated to Archbishop-Patriarch Felipe Neri Ferrao-our pastor. This is the first time that a book is written on "Stories of Blessed Joseph Vaz". The author has compiled the stories from various books and sources in Goa, Kanara and Sri Lanka. The author has also included church documents, articles written by the him on the meaning of the picture of Blessed Joseph Vaz, 25 facts of Blessed Joseph Vaz, an article on the Sanctuary of Blessed Joseph Vaz, a jumbo puzzle on Blessed Joseph Vaz, lyrics composed and set to age-old tune of Blessed Joseph Vaz, and finally 14 letters of Blessed Joseph Vaz. The imprimatur is given by Archbishop-Patriarch Felipe Neri Ferrao. The Nihil obstat for the book is given by Fr Cosme Jose Costa. The book includes 16 coloured pages of pictures of the relics, monuments, paintings and places related to Blessed Joseph Vaz from Goa, Kanara and Sri Lanka.
