Medical enlightening and NRI Product/Services seminar was held by the Goan Welfare Association (GWA), Qatar to their community at the Apollo Clinic on 18th February 2005. The seminar was conducted by the specialist Doctors from the Apollo Clinic and UTI Bank Ltd which has an alliance with the Doha Bank. The interesting Health topics such as Hypertension by Dr. Rajendra Babu, MD (General medicicine), Cataract formation by Dr. Murali Krishnan, MS (Ophthalmolgy), DO, DNB (Ophthalmology) and The Recent Trends in Aesthetic Dentistry by Dr. Harish Koticha, BDS. The talks were supported by Power point presentations. Following the talks, there was a brief interactive session with the audience during which the doctors answered questions from the audience.
Coinciding with the event, Mr. Venugopalan, the Marketing Manager of the Clinic briefed about the Apollo Family Health Edge Card which is a Health Card that entitles the card holder and/or any member of the family to have 5 Free consultations per year and 10% discount on lab/diagnostics and procedures through out the year. There was also a video presentation of the Apollo clinic which was a walk-through of the clinic and its various facilities.

The Seminar was compered by Dr. Lalmohan Banerjee of Apollo Clinic and Simon D�Silva, President of the association proposed a vote of thanks.
