Yes, by the grace of our Lord Jesus and the Prayers of
Clergymen and Pastors, various Prayer Groups, Friends
& Relatives and Many Well-Wishers, our daughter
Priyanka is getting better everyday.
It is indeed a Miracle and she is slowly but surely
recovering.
As of 13th April,2005 she is still on Complete Life
Support in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of the Al-Sabah
Hospital and is listed critical by the doctors. She is
presently undergoing Hemodialysis.
Since the last 2-3 days she is in semiconscious
(sedation is decreased) and is able to slightly open
her eyes, listen to our voices and slightly move her
hands and legs.
Basically it started on 26th/27th March 2005, with
mild fever and throat irritation and was prescribed
medication by the local clinic. But after 2 days the
fever started increasing along with vomiting and hence
on 29th March we took her to the local hospital. After
medication and cold compress, she was sent home after
4-5 hrs of observation. On 30th March afternoon, the
fever increased beyond @ 104 F and hence we got her
admitted in the hospital. That night her condition
worsened and on 31st March afternoon, she was then
shifted to the Al-Sabah Hospital and that very
evening, her condition became critical.
On the morning of 2nd April, the PICU Management and
Doctors advised us to be prepared for the worst.
But since then Priyanka has been slowly but surely
recovering.
On 11th April, they did the CT Scan for her Brain and
Echo-Test for her Heart and both these organs have
shown no damage.
Please pray for Priyanka's safe recovery as well as
for all the sick people who need our healing prayers.
Also please pray for the medical personnel of the
PICU-Al Sabah Hospital, Farwaniya Hospital, Amiri
Hospital, Al-Nafisi Hospital.
