It's once again election time in Amchem Goa !!
To the average Indian and for that matter the visiting tourists, Goans are a sussegad lot, but not when it comes to politics, it's another game all together. Goa has a history of change in governments, one toppling the other - a replication what used to happen in Italy.
The June 2, 2005 byelections to five Assembly seats in Benaulim, Margao, Cumbarjua, Poinguinim, and Taleigao even cannot guarantee that the new government will be bold enough to ward off the evil desires of the defactors.
Will Goans elect the ex-MLAs once again? Or are they going to change the entire scenario?
All indications however point out that BJP will have the last laugh.
