Ancy Paladka, popularly known for children's literature, written about 50 short stories, 300 poems,300 children songs,50 articles. He has also published Books 'Yego Baye' (Poetry collection), Chirputaam (100 children song), Baall Sangathi, and 3 Stage plays.
Ancy Paladka is the winner of Karnataka Konkani Saahithyaa Akaademi award for his book "Yego Baye" and T.M.A.Pai award for his book "Chirputam". Professionally System Engineer Ancy is presently working in Dubai.
Brief Profile in his own words:
Though I write in several pen names I am popular by my pen name Ancy Paladka.
I write regularly in Konkani since last 22 years. I have concentrated more on children's literature since last 10 years. I have written 300 poems, 800 Children's songs, 30 Short stories, 40 Childrens stories, 3 plays and several investigative and research articles.
I have received Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Akademy award for the years 1995 to 1997; Dr. T. M. A. Pai Award for the year 1999. My several nursery rhymes are published in a book published by Goa Education board for the childrens of Upper KG and Lower KG classes. I was a honorary lecturer for Konkani Diploma classes in St. Aloysius college. I was editor of Amcho Yuvak and editorial board member of Raknno.
I was a central council executive committee member of CYM Mangalore Diocese and also Catholic Sabha Mangalore Diocese for seven years and served in various positions at diocesan level.
