59 % candidates pass SSC board exam in Goa Out of 15708 candidates that appeared for the SSC exams, 9268 candidates have been declared successful, giving a overall pass percentage of 59 percent. However, girls once again out performed boys by registering pass percentage of 56 percent as compared to the passing percentage of 51 percent of boys. Total 8758 girls appeared for the exams of which 4932 were successful while 4679 boys were successful out of 9116 appeared. Amongst boys highest score was 693 out of 750 while amongst girls 684 was the highest score.
In the exempted category, 2166 candidates had appeared of which 343 candidates are declared successful giving pass percentage of 15. 84 percent. The last date for applying for photocopies is June 10, 2005. Last date for verification in ansentia/ presentia: June 28, 2005. The reasons for keeping the results in reserve are stated in the consolidated result sheets of the schools.
