School trio tops Gulf

THREE Indian School pupils have excelled in the Gulf in their high school examinations, the school said yesterday. Meenakshi Subramanian was the top 10th grade pupil, with 96.8per cent in the All India Secondary School Certificate Exami-nation (AISSCE). Ananya Sunil Shah topped in the science stream with 95.6pc and Mani Krishna Anand in the commerce stream with 93pc. They were among the 399 students who took the AISSCE conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Ananya and Mani's triumphs were announced last week. Meenakshi's was announced yesterday. "This is a record-breaking victory for the school. The whole school is proud of this achievement," said school executive committee chairman P V Radhakrish-na Pillai. |
