IndianFootball.Com Club Ranking
The latest "IndianFootball.Com Club Ranking” has been released with some delay due to the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup and the Pakistan Tour of the Indian national team.
The June ranking sees no changes on the top three spots. Calcutta giants East Bengal Club (540,0 pts.) remain on top, while NFL champions Dempo SC (347,0 pts) and Mahindra United (346,0 pts.) remain 2nd and 3rd. Vasco SC climbed up to the 7th spot and dropped Goan rivals Churchill Brothers to the 8th.
The biggest winners of the latest edition are Viva Kerala, climbing 13 spots to clinch the 66th position, and Central Excise (Kochi), up 12 spots on 76th position. Both teams were able to clinch vital points, while being active in the Kerala Football League and the Kerala State Senior Football Championship.
