| 'To Mhaka Naka..' Konkani Play to be Staged in Dubai |

Daijiworld News Network - Dubai Dubai, Sep 7: 'To Mhaka Naka', a Konkani rendition by Richie Pereira Derebail of a popular Kannada play by Ramanad Churya, is scheduled to be staged in the Emirates Auditorium in Dubai on September 30. As the month of September commences, a long string of programmes in and around Dubai gets going, beginning with the Monti Fest, until the month end. The spirit of the Konkani community in Dubai keeps rising to promote the Konkani culture and art as usual. Mangalore Konkans Dubai, known as the best organizers of any events in Dubai, conduct an entertainment porgrame every year, either in the form of competitions, or talent day or by staging a play in the month of September. This year, they are now ready with 'To Mhaka Naka'. Well-known, experienced actors have been shortlisted for this play, with veteran and award-winning stage artiste Manohar Pais directing it. The art-lovers in UAE would perhaps look forward to seeing him on stage after a break of many years. He will also play the lead role in the play, ably supported by Laveea Fernandes, Alwyn Pinto, Valerian Peris, Dayan D`Souza, James Mendonca, Nelson, Tracy Rodrigues and Violet Pais The audience will be limited and only 500 invitations are available. The invitation costs Dhs 100 Dhs 50 and Dhs 30 Free transport from Karama (Lulu) and Bur Dubai (Jumbo/Shoe Mart) will be available. The bus will leave at 5.00 pm.
