Gospel Concerts in Goa
The internationally acclaimed 25-member Gospel Rexband from Cochin will perform at the Navelim Church Grounds on 1st October 2005 and at Don Bosco Grounds, Panjim on 2nd October at the 6:30 pm. The concerts are being organized as part of a fund-raising programme by Help & Help Charitable Trust, an organization which reaches out to institutions serving the needy in Goa.
The 3-hour Rexband live shows are designed to integrate music, song, dance and theatre. The band has performed over 500 concerts across the Middle East, India, United States and Europe. It was also the first Catholic band from the Indian subcontinent to be invited for the World Youth Day performances in 2002 in Canada and 2005 in Germany.
Help & Help is a non-profit organization in Goa which provides material, monetary and moral support to institutions serving the needy, such as homes for the aged, orphanages, hospitals, homes and schools for the physically and mentally challenged, the destitute and slum dwellers, irrespective of their religious or ethnic status.
