to host on stage the 20 member troupe from Mangalore / Bombay ,

flown in especially to perform for “KONKAN SHOWERS 2005”.

 

This event as in the past will be conducted bi-lingually (Konkani and English) packed with loads of fun and entertainment to suit the crowd belonging to the Konkan world and outside.     The Konkan Kogul “Wilfy  Rebimbus” along with his wife, Meena,  Vishwas Rebimbus, Prem Lobo, Claud D'souza & Sandria Rodrigues along with the others musicians and dancers will enthrall the crowd with melodies of by gone days and will leave you mesmerized with the enchanting tunes of today’s. 

 

Two bollywood famed mimicry artist Navin Prabhakar and Singer Archana Mahajan will be flown in from Mumbai for this show too. 

 

The KS 2005 night is shaped on your desires.   It is time to pick up and play those old Cassettes or CDs and listen to the mellifluous songs of the famous Konkani singers of yesteryears.   Yes, St. Mary’s Konkani Community as organizers are throwing open the net to gather the most  popular tunes and decide the sensational and musical annual event on people’s choices and turn the evening of 10 November into a memorable one for you and for me.

 Tickets for KS 2005 will be put on sale around third week of October ‘05

AED. 100/- (V.I.P) or AED. 50/- for Adults and

AED.30/- for Children (4 to 11 years)

This is inclusive of sumptuous buffet dinner.
