I was born in Chandor (Salcette) and moved to Australia as a 13 year old in 1989. I would like to know if there are any Goan Associations in this area or in Al-Kobar. I am working at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals which is next door to Saudi Aramco. Any information would be great. I have been searching on the net for almost 4 hours. There are plenty of Goans in Bahrain and Qatar but I haven't come across any here. There was a cultural and sports day held in 2004 in Al-Kobar, would you be kind enough to furnish me any information on this?
