World G.O.A.N. network: From Goa Sudharop The Board of Directors of Goa Sudharop would like to thank the donor family who, in the last three years, has donated through Goa Sudharop approximately US $10,000 (approx. 4.4 lakhs) towards the St. Vincent's High School, Pune "Goan Trust Fund" for the higher education of Goans in medicine or engineering.
The trust fund has been established since the mid-1980's. The annual scholarship has funded many poor Goan students for 5 to 7 years each to help pay their fees and books while earning a degree in engineering or medicine. The family wishes to remain anonymous.
