Bonjour,
J'ai tent� d'ajouter le kernel 2.6.1 sur un poste qui
contient une distribution Mandrake 9.2 (2.4.22-10). Je
m'attendais � des effets de bords mais c'est pire,
impossible de d�mmarer sur le nouveau noyau. J'ai des
lacunes dans ce domaine... Voici la proc�dure que j'ai
suivie :
d�compress� linux-2.6.1.tar.bz2 dans /usr/src
make xconfig
make dep && bzImage && modules
make modules_install
Aucune erreur � ce stade
j'ai copi� bzImage dans /boot/2.6.1/bzImage-2.6.1
J'ai copi� le System.map-2.6.1 dans
/boot/2.6.1/System.map-2.6.1 (Je ne vois pas l'utilit�
de ce fichier)
J'ai cr�e un fichier initrd-2.6.1.img (Je ne vois pas
l'utilit� de ce fichier --??)
--> mkinitrd initrd-2.6.1.img 2.6.1
J'ai cr�� 2 liens symboliques :
ln -s System.map-2.6.1 System.map
ln -s initrd-2.6.1.img initrd.img
J'ai modifi� /etc/lilo.conf :
