I was reviewing some things re:G:Banestorm, and remembered some folks
on the list had discussed Earth-->Metal in Magic 4e awhile ago. Were
there any conclusions? Anyone know if those threads had been
archived? If so, could someone help this relatively computer
illterate where I might find such archives?
Sorry I'm such a space cadet-- life has gotten hectic, and I've
mainly been scanning the posts for the past few months or so...

I beleive the best conclusions compatible with canon and errata to date was
this:
The spells produce "fake" orichalcum and adamant.
The "Real" permanent, NMZ-friendly orichalcum and adamant are produced
through alchemy.
A possible adaptation: at 100x cost, the spells can be permanent (e.g. not
Dispellable).
