Hi, everyone. I've been going to MEPACON since it started many years ago. I like the convention so much, that I volunteered to be the RPG coordinator. This spring will be the second time I've coordinated the RPGs at the convention. Our last convention was great, and we had plenty of RPGs, but the organizers of the convention would like to see even more RPGs. If you're interested, you can contact me directly via e-mail at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, or you can get in touch with the convention through the convention website at <http://www.mepacon.com/>. We're looking for all sorts of RPGs, and GURPS has historically done fairly well at this convention. It would be great if one or two people from the list would run a GURPS event or two at the convention. Typically, GURPS games within the horror genre tend to attract a good number of players. GURPS games with a strong media tie-in, like a popular TV show, film, or book series, also tend to do very well. If you'd like to coordinate your games with other GMs, just to make sure we're not duplicating effort or running similar games at the same time, you can join our MEPACON RPG group. You can subscribe by sending a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or by going to the website <http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/mepacon_rpg/> and signing up there.
