I've actually started two new campaigns since 4e came
out.
I have two primary reasons for staying with 3e:
1) I've been playing 3e since 1990 and have come up
with a fair number of house rules to shape 3e into
what I want. I don't feel like starting again,
especially since 4e made changes I don't like and
didn't change things I thought should be changed.
2) I have quite a large number of 3e books (around
150). Most of them have crunch that isn't compatible
with 4e. So, either I take a lot of time converting
(time that would be better spent on campaigns) or I
buy 4e versions of the books (assuming they come out)
which to me is a waste of money.
In short, 4e isn't worth the investment in time or
money to switch to for me.
