This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on a website or the like. My site is down for rebuilding, but sooner or later the old stuff should reappear at omeyer.gmxhome.de Onno Meyer, 2009-01-19
Stealth Sensor Array v1.0 (TL11) Copyright 2009 by Onno Meyer Starships emplace the Stealth Sensor Array in orbit around primitive worlds, for routine surveillance or perhaps to prepare a first contact mission. The primary wideband EM array covers wavelengths from visible light to microwave radiation. From a low orbit, it can resolve details down to 10 cm. The secondary hyperspectral sensor covers even more of the EM spectrum at a lower resolution. The Array can maneuver at 0.25 G, fast for a satellite but less so for an interstellar craft. Active and passive stealth systems give it the radar signature of a grain of sand, and the thermal signature is hardly larger. Subassemblies: Body +1.
