This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml Onno Meyer, 2009-11-02
SpinDevCorp Gravhopper Lift Ferry v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL8) Copyright 2009 by Onno Meyer Even on underdeveloped worlds, travelers will usually encounter a few grav vehicles in niche applications. One role which comes as a surprise to most spacers is the grav ferry across fast-flowing rivers. The SDC Gravhopper is designed around a parking deck for two or three dozen ground cars or vans. Front and rear ramps allow fast a turnaround time. Two lounges and a fast food bar encourage the passengers to spend some more money. The fuel cells burn 780 gallons of hydrogen per hour. A full load of hydrogen is $1,000. Subassemblies: Body +8.
