It still doesn't stress the drivetrain as much as running or walking.

Actually, in the setting the DR 30 suit replaced the DR 50 suit. The lower DR 
suit is $7K more, but has IR cloaking, stealth and chameleon systems while the 
DR 50 does not.

The DR 30 suit is, basically, Heavy Combat Armor (UT2) with an exoskeleton and 
limited life support. It is intended for general issue (the earlier suit was 
for recon).

The older suit is 6.4 cf, the newer 7.1 cf.
