Hi again,
it might be helpful to know that gvSIG shows this description in addition to
the logfile:
*java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 6*

Subject: gvSIG 1.9(1250): Problems reading PostGIS-layer after using
symbology
To: Users and Developers mailing list <[email protected]>,
[email protected]

Dear list,

today I found yet another way how to fail on connecting to a
PostGIS-database ;-)
This time I symbolized a PostGIS layer of linestrings with intervalls
(using symbology->quantity->intervalls). After assigning the intervalls to
my layer, I was happy to see it displayed on the screen the way I wanted.
No problem so far.
But if I want to change the symbology -say using different numbers of
intervalls or changing color or whatever- I loose connection to the postGIS
DB.
It always drops an error when pressing the properties tab in the context
menu of the layer in the TOC.
Please find a logfile attached.
Q&d workaround is to delete the layer and add it again. Well, that's not the
best way...

Any ideas/hints?

best,

Johannes
