Hi, In addition, filter formating differs throughout the program. The "Filtered features (SQL GDBMS)" option in the "Label class properties" throws up an error if you use quotation marks " rather than ' in the SQL. This does not appear to be a problem in 'Filter' commands used in the symbology tab --> Expressions --> [New filter] dialog or the Table Filter dialog used in the [Filter] button of the "toolbar" menu. The SQL used throughout the program should be standardized and error capturing routines established to avoid illegal characters being inserted into a SQL command. alternatively don't allow the user to enter commands directly but use a builder such as the one used in the Table filter.
