I have just solved this same error (see maps and GPS position) in other
comercial software (SPOT) similar to gvSIG Mini, by using the following
setting:

/     -OverwriteNetworkDefaults -> DirectTCP (Non-BES-Mode)
              Note: BES stands for  'BlackBerry Enterprise Server'
/
¿does anyone know if a similar solution is also possible in gvSIG Mini?
