Hi Klaus. Yes, I have seen this behaviour before. I agree, it is enoying, and it should be fixed. It would be good if you can open a ticket in redMine and write the worst cases at least (for example, I hate when I open layer properties and this cause a unnecesary refresh).
Maybe in 2.0 this doesn't happen, I don't know. But it would be good to test right now, because making changes AFTER a final release is out, can be done but it means more work to package. Cheers.
