Hello, I've fully charged and ran down my BookSense XT a total of 4 times now, and have not had more then 7 hours and 20 minutes of play time on each of these separate charges. Actually, the first time was just over 6 hours, and then the second time was 7 hours and 5 minutes and the third and forth were 7 hours and 20 minutes.
Having been on this group/email list for a bit now, I have time and time again, seen users say that they have recieved around 12 hours of play time. This is a XT and I am not using bluetooth headphones, just the standard wired headphones in fact, the first time was with the earbuds that come with the unit, and the volume was not over 12. The files that I have been using for these tests have been just standard audio files the first was just music, the second was a NLS BARD book, and the thtird and forth were just TV and various MP3's. And each time as I had said above, the life of the battery has not been any longer than 7 hours and 20 minutes. I'm not sure of if any of you have also had similar issues with the BookSense, but I'd love to hear any ideas you might have that will correct this limited amount of time I'm having for each full charge. And no, the bluetooth is not accidentally on and, I've already reset the unit twice . Such drama, eh ? Thanks much
