Hello Adam. I had the same problem. GW Micro and the members on this list suggested that I take out the battery for 20 to 30 seconds, role back to the 1.0 firmware and then reinstal the 1.1 firmware, reset the BookSense by pushing the button encased in the pinhole with a toothpick, or do a factory reset by pushing the button and holding the 4 key for 30 seconds. I did all of that but Paul's voice never showed up again. I am now sending my unit to GW Micro. Maybe if you gave them a call they can help you out seeing how you're not in America. Good luck.
