Hi,

Yes it's true that the BT feature is very fussy!

I also have had issues with the Plantonics Pulsar 590 headset which does
meet the BS specs regarding BT.
I have also noticed that BT range is not near 30 feet and requires line of
sight access to funtion property.

Bring on the new Firmware please!

Subject: [GW-Booksense] Many bugs in the Book Sense

Hello all

I am one of those who reset my player every day and often more than once.

The Bluetooth will disconnect from the headset that I got with my system
from GW Micro without warning. It will connect again by following the steps
for doing this or more often I will be forced to reset.

Another thing that will happen from time to time when coming out of sleep
mode is that an NLS book will stutter and I back out of the book and reopen
that book to get the book to play again.

When you are in an NLS book and you want to back up a few seconds you cant.
The smallest amount of time you can back up in a NLS book is 1 minute.

The radio does not work that well with the wired headphones connected. More
often than not I get a mono signal on stations that are not that far away.

I wanted to connect a small set of Bluetooth speakers from Sony to the Book
Sense, however I was not able to get the

Book Sense to even know the speakers were in connection mode.

The Sony speakers are model SRS-BTM30. A nice set of speakers for the money.
Thankfully I can connect for now with a wire to the headset jack.

I hope that many of these problems can be resolved in the next update to the
software.
