If you have the XT, the radio is technically not allowed, but one would assume
that using it without using the radio would
be all right. However, if airline personnel know that it contains a radio,
they may want to underscore the fact that you
should avoid the radio. This really should not be a problem since they leave
it to passengers to put cellphones in
airplane mode and such, but who knows nowadays.
