Another method is to connect the AC charger and it too, will act as an
antenna. However you lose portability of course.

because they serve as the antana for the radio feature. Then, I believe
you can hold down the #9 for a couple of seconds to get the radio to
play through the built-in-speaker if you wish.
I get lousy FM reception where I live, but my Book Sense does reasonably
well.
