What I do is not bring the velcro up over the controls, I just let it
hook just below them. Better than no case, but-----.

if you're not wearing it on your belt, and you wrap the flap all the way
around the back to leave the unit uncovered, the flap covers up the controls
along the side so you can't use them without undoing the velcro.
it's better than not having a case at all, as it comes, but there's room for
a redesign in my opinion.
